From the Gazette: City council votes to maintain P-6

“Montreal city hall voted Tuesday night to maintain bylaw P-6 and keep its controversial provisions, including outlawing masks and requiring that demonstrators provide an itinerary of their marches.”

The protesters who got away with bloody murder and are propped up by the Parti Quebecois will continue whining and smashing things no matter what. At least this way there’s some accountability – something the self-righteous student movement never had to face last year.

I’m betting this law won’t stand forever in its current form, but it’s necessary right now. I’m not sure I’m entirely in favour of people having to give routes/itineraries, but no one should be allowed to wear a mask during a protest in a public space.
