I could list about a million-and-a-half reasons why I’m so incredibly proud to be Canadian, but there’s not enough bandwidth on all of the Internet to put it all out there.

Instead, I’ll let this picture of incoming Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and outgoing Prime Minister Stephen Harper laying a wreath in honour of two killed Canadian soldiers together at the National War Memorial speak for all of Canada.

In many nations, this would be unthinkable. In several, it would be impossible. In Canada, it’s perfectly normal.
